Yes, as long as it's done professionally and the vehicle is in good mechanical condition. All our calibrations are performed on a dynamometer with real-time monitoring of AFR, boost, knock and temperatures. It's important that the engine has no pre-existing issues (leaks, damaged sensors, low compression, etc.), since a tune pushes the engine harder and can worsen existing problems. Some issues aren't easy to detect without a thorough diagnosis, so we recommend making sure your vehicle is in good mechanical shape before getting it tuned.
It depends on the vehicle and the type of work. A Stage 1 tune can take between 1 and 3 hours. More complex jobs like turbo tuning, E85 or standalone may require more time. That's why the last appointment is 2 hours before closing.
